Surfing på nettet fører ofte til mye unyttig informasjon som samles opp i hodet. I dag har jeg kommet over et artig spill som gir deg muligheten til å vinne en kano (!), hallo, hvem vil vel ikke ha en kano ?  Og på andreplass ligger et relativt bra kamera; http://pant.no/spill_karpediem.php. Som linken viser er det også noe med karpe diem. Ja, du kan også vinne konsertbilletter til de.  Anywhooo, jeg klarte ikke mer enn 33 flasker i pant, klarer du mer ? 

 Fant også ut at første vinen som kan pantes er igjen kommet til Norge ! Whooah ! Siden jeg ikke liker vin, så faller den sikkert helt i smak. 

Men jeg er faktisk stolt av meg selv når det gjelder å velge ting som kan pantes. Jeg velger heller en halvliter smirnoff ice på boks, istedet for en 0,33 smirnoff ice på flaske (som ikke kan pantes). Ja, og det er forsåvidt kun for den grunnen at den kan pantes, og er også relativt uknuselig. Vinn-vinn situasjon!

First report on novel

I?ve read the Hunger games by Suzanne Collins, aged 57. It?s a trilogy starting with The Hunger Games, then there?s Catching Fire and the last one is Mocking jay. Until now I?ve read The Hunger Games, and started with Catching Fire.



The Hunger Games is a book about a game which begins with 24 contestants from 12 districts. Each district has to provide a boy and a girl between the ages of 12-18. This happens through a lottery with notes of names of everyone, and some have more notes. You get one name in for each year, but do you ask for tessera you get one more note with your name in the lottery. The tesserae are coupons for food, and it?s almost impossible to not go without them because of poverty and hunger. So Katniss has signed up for them, because she won?t let her little sister, Prim, do it. It?s Prim?s first year in the lottery and she has only one note. Katniss is worried her male friend she goes hunting with would be chosen, because he has a lot of notes and Katniss cares about him a lot. Against the odds, Prim is chosen to join the games, and so is a baker son called Peeta also. Katniss volunteers for her sister at once, and now she and Peeta have to fight for their lives.

Having to leave for the games means that she is leaving and probably not coming back. All the contestants has to leave their family and friends. Katniss mostly keeps to herself, but she has her mother and her little sister she cares a great deal about. Also she has Gale, which is her closest friend and also a character who has an important role in all three books. Bust mostly in the second and third, so I'm not mentioning him a lot in this review. 

In the games there can be only one winner, and this means having to kill other people, having to kill Peeta, the bakers son. The games are showed live on television. Which means they have to make a show if there?s little going on. In preparations for the games each couple from the districts gets to train and eat well. They participate in interviews to excite and involve the audience. Each couple has to dress according to their districts. If the district produces diamonds and gold, they can dress up in golden clothes with lots of diamonds. Katniss and Peeta are from district 12 that produces coal, so all the contestants have always been in dark and sad clothes. This year however, the designer is new, young and wants to impress. He says that coal is always burnt, so he wants to set them on fire.

The whole dress and appearance in front of the cameras is a giant success and the audience is melting for the girl on fire. The audience is important to win over because they could be sponsors when they get in the game. The sponsors give you important things you need to survive while you are in the games. Peeta confess that he is in love with Katniss which wins over the audience and makes them a favorite couple. This also helps give the gamemakers a show and they change the rules midway through the games. There can be two winners, but only if they are from the same district. Haymitch is Katniss and Peeta?s game coach and he together with the gamemakers controls the gifts from the sponsors. Katniss is very smart and figure out what they have to do to get gifts from the sponsors.

So far in the game there are only two pairs left. Little Rue and Thress from district 11 and Katniss and Peeta. Katniss meets Rue during the games and Rue reminds Katniss of her little sister Prim. This makes Katniss sentimental and they become allies. Rue is killed by a boy from district 1. Katniss kills him immediately. Katniss is so traumatized and all she can do is give herself simple commands like ?Sit up, Katniss. Now you have to drink water Katniss?. She decides to go find Peeta.

Katniss has to find Peeta and she finds him with a deadly injury in his leg. Katniss takes as good care as she can of Peeta, but she knows he needs medicine to survive. Katniss asks out in the open air for Haymitch to give her the medicine to save Peeta. It doesn?t take long before there?s a message to all the contestants left in the game. All the sponsors have given gifts and there are all at the same place. This is to make a show for the audience. Peeta refuses to let Katniss go, but she gives him a sleeping pill just so she can go and get the medicine. When she is there she has to be careful not to run in the other contestants, but she does. She meets two boys and a girl, Thresh, Cato and Clove. Clove and Katniss gets in an argument and Clove yells for Cato to come back her up in her fight with Katniss. This is when Thresh takes a hold of Katniss and could have killed her right there, but instead he asks about Rue. Then he lets Katniss go.

The game is brutal and horrible, and Katniss struggles to survive. Against all odds Katniss and Peeta are the two last contestants? and according to the new rule they are the winners. This is when they get a new message, that the rule change does not count anymore, and there can only be one winner. Katniss is disgusted by this, because she knows that Peeta is sick and it will be her that survives. She doesn?t want to kill him, or leave him, so she collects highly poisonous berries which she shares with Peeta. They are going to commit suicide and then there will be no winners. The game makers can?t have that, and let?s them both win.

After the games Katniss and Peeta is healed and Katniss has no wounds from the game. Peeta however had a serious injury in his foot and has to amputate it. They are after a while taken home and the book ends here. 

This is the first book. I will, if wanted, also summarize the two others. I can also summarize other books if that is something desirable. Please comment if there is something you feel I left out.

Flirer litt av meg selv når jeg faktisk en dag har "fri" og klarer å glemme hele bloggen. Derfor gir jeg opp i dag, ettersom jeg faila i går. Men det har vært en ganske grei utfordring da. Og jeg er stolt at jeg klarte meg såppas lenge.

Det som gjorde at jeg glemte bloggen i går var rett og slett en forglemmelse mellom jobb, rydding, fest og gjester.

Day 30- One last moment = Da jeg så kjæresten min for første gang. Jeg ble med Ola på fest og der var han, avslappa og careless (som han er nå også). Visste akkurat da jeg så han at jeg ville ha han. Selv om jeg trodde han var litt "out of my league", prøvde jeg meg, og fikk etter hvert kontakt : )

2. Jeg er husredd, altså, misliker å være hjemme alene, spesielt på kveldene

Kommer ikke på noe akkurat nå, men det er sikkert mange flere ting jeg er redd for.  Takk for oppmerksomheten, håper dere får en fin 2.juledag !

 

Litt sent ute i dag også, men jeg har jo klart meg gjennom julaften nå da !

En første gang. Jeg hadde en første gang i dag faktisk. Første gang jeg ble med Grethe hjem. Grethe er ei kjempesøt jente jeg jobber sammen med, og vi dro til hennes fantastiske terraseleilighet på innlandet /Luksus/ og spiste nachos og pratet. Kjempekos avslutning på en herlig dag.

Ellers så har jeg for IKKE første gang, og sikkert ikke siste gang ikke så mye å dele, så jeg skal legge meg, slik at jeg kan være opplagt til i morgen og en dag til på jobb!

Noe som får meg til å gråte er triste filmer eller jula med familien. Ikke på noe spesielt god måte heller. Men så er det jo jul og jeg gleder meg masse til god mat og gaver ; )))) god jul folkens, håper den blir amazing : )

Noe som får meg til å føle meg bedre er vel glade mennesker, eller bare det å være alene. Gjerne soving, det er godt det. Eller anna randoms stuff. Best er det vel å sove. Hvis ikke det er å sove, må det bli å være blant folk, eller dyr. Sosialt samvær.  Jeg elsker gaver også da, og kosing, som kyss, klem, nærkontakt. Og kjekke gutter i bar overkropp. Det er også ganske herlig.

Men det som helt definitivt som får meg til å føle meg bedre er Stianpus : )

Kjærlighet er noe av det beste å ha når man trenger noen.
